Hi! I'm a medior frontend with a bachelor's degree in Applied Informatics. I'm mainly focused on React, but have also worked with Java and NodeJS before.

At 26, I've already gained valuable work and academic experience in test-driven, agile website development. I have improved my skills at Two Point O, Oddball / Purple Panda and DXC FDS.

I have around 3.5 years of working experience.

Work experience

April 2024 - August 2024

My latest working experience is with Two Point O as a frontend React developer.

However, this was shortlived due to this job not being a complete match after all.

Key Projects

My first project was at Be•at, the company behind the Sportpaleis. I worked for a month on a new project which is still in development.

I worked in a small team for the redesign of Beamery's website. This will be released soon.

POC troubleshooting page

I developed an internal page for the company website. This page is meant for customers who are experiencing issues with the websites. On this page we display systems specs etc to make fiding the issue easier.

POC

During my time at 2.O I also co-developed 2 proof of concept projects for potential projects.

I worked as a Frontend Developer at Oddball, which later merged with Purple Panda.

Initially part of a 4-member team, I eventually took on the responsibility of leading the team single-handedly. Specializing in React development, I have also gained experience in deploying websites to Google Cloud.

I co-developed these three websites from scratch until finish.

Key Projects

TheValueChain

Our first website was for Gumption's largest company, TheValueChain. Our responsibilities included creating the website's components, handling bug fixes and change requests post-launch.

Brightest

Our team also developed a website for Gumption's second largest company. The project involved similar tasks and technologies as TheValueChain.

Linc.legal

Our last creation was a website for this law firm based in Antwerp, using the same technology stack as the previous projects.

My first paid working experience was as a consultant for the Flemish Government. I spent the first year modernizing the Gebruikersbeheer, the internal authorization panel, by converting legacy code into separate APIs.

After that, I co-developed the Inzageloket for Department Omgeving, a public-facing website that allows civilians to view nearby construction projects on a map.

Initially I worked on the backend in a +5 team, but eventually I focused on the frontend together with a senior developer.

Volunteer work

Galerij Artisjok from Lier asked me to create a website for their newest magazine. I volunteered to develop this on my own in my free time using only non-paid services.

It includes a frontend which can get accessed using a CMS, a form for feedback, a grid with randomized tiles, a contact page and a page for displaying pictures using a slider and Instagram.

I got the chance of volunteering at React Brussels. Not only did this gave me the opportunity to meet loads of skilled people, I was also able to follow some very interesting talks and workshops.

I mostly learned about the framework Astro, and how to use server components for forms which was added in React 19, but also saw talks about accessability, AI and view transitions.
